It is essential to make sure that you are taking care of yourself both physically and emotionally, or you will quickly become overwhelmed. Self-care is not selfish; it is necessary to make sure that you are able to function in the world.

If you do not take the time to nurture yourself, you will quickly become depleted and may even become sick. When you love and care for yourself, you are also better able to care for others. - Dried flowers (for example rose pedals)
- Bath salt (for example Epsom bath salt or sea salt)
Aura cleansing spray (for example Florida water)
- Rose essential oil
- Ylang ylang essential oil
- Rose quartz
- A journal and pen

Step 1: Cleansing
If you’re someone who is highly sensitive to energy, it’s important to keep your own energy clean and clear. This means letting go of any stuck emotions or energies that are no longer serving you. When you cleanse your energy, it makes room for new energy and manifestations to occur in your life.
If you’re an empath, it’s even more important to cleanse your energy on a regular basis. This is because you tend to absorb the energies of those around you. If you’re constantly surrounded by negative energy, it can be very difficult to maintain your own positive vibrations. Cleansing your energy will help you to let go of any negativity that you’ve been carrying around, and it will also make you more receptive to positive energies.
Therefore, the first step of this self-care ritual for self-love entails cleansing your energy. During this ritual, Sara uses aura cleansing bath salt which is a blend of different flowers and sea salt. Then, a breathing exercise follows, where you slowly inhale and exhale while visualizing how your aura is being cleansed.
Step 2: Setting an Intention
After you’ve cleansed your energy, it can be helpful to set an intention for what you want to manifest in your life. Therefore, step 2 of this ritual entails setting an intention.
This could be something as simple as feeling more self-love or taking better care of your needs. Whatever feels right to you at that moment, trust that and go with it.
By setting an intention, you’re aligning yourself with what you truly want and opening yourself up to receiving it. Trust that the universe will support you in achieving your intention. Step 3: Turning Up Self-Love
This step of the self-care ritual for self-love is the most extensive one. Sara guides you through several actions to help you turn up the love for yourself:
#1 A Sense of Safety
Before turning up the feeling of self-love, focus on creating a sense of safety and feeling grounded.
To do that, think of a time in your life when you felt safe and protected. It can be a time when you felt happy and peaceful. Imagine what it felt like to feel that safe and visualize your surroundings.

After visualizing the feeling of safety and protection, embrace yourself in that feeling. Once you’ve tuned into this sensation, you amplify the sense of safety in the here and now.
#2 Back To Self-Love
After establishing that sense of safety, go back to a moment where you 100% accepted and embraced who you are. A moment where you truly loved yourself.
Then, amplify that sense of self-love in the here and now. Bringing that feeling back to the here and now is always possible by tuning into the energy from your past self.
#3 Aura Spray & Essential Oils
After doing this, spray your aura cleansing spray around you and smell the smell of your rose essential oil. Rose essential oil is one of the highest vibrating essential oils out there and helps you to raise your vibration more easily.
Visualize how you fill your aura with high vibrations and love for yourself and all that is around you. After doing this, use the ylang ylang essential oil to connect to your inner child. It helps bring stuck emotions to life so you can more easily release them.
If you do not have these essential oils, choose another one that makes you feel good, loved, and safe.
Rose quartz has a frequency of 350 hertz and helps you to heal by balancing and harmonizing your heart chakra. This crystal can help you to bring love into your life.
Hold the crystal in your right hand and put it on your heart to receive pure loving energy into your heart. This helps you to easier be able to release emotions that need to be released.
