Easy Iron Rich Spirulina Smoothie Recipe

This fun and mineral boosting smoothie recipe will give you energy and you’ll love the sweet-tart flavor of the cherries.

Have you tried spirulina?  It’s an iron rich, freshwater blue green algae packed with nutrients from the sea.

Spirulina is crowned a superfood because it has so many health boosting nutrients.


– Vimergy Spirulina – banana – cherries – sea moss gel – organic tart cherry juice

You can pre measure the liquid, sea moss, and spirulina and throw them  in a container in the fridge the night before to save time.



If you live in a cold climate and don’t like cold smoothies in winter, feel free to  use fresh not frozen fruit to warm up the smoothie.

Blend all ingredients in a blender or Vitamix.  Pour into tall glasses and enjoy fresh.


Spirulina begins to taste very “green” when you increase the amount, so I  would recommend sticking to one tablespoon especially if you’re a  spirulina newbie.
